Unusual perspective has been the driving force behind my image making, in nature photography as well as in abstract works. What I like best about the photographic process is that it offers the ability to capture and communicate unique viewpoints, and allows sharing of these perspectives with others.
Moreover, Digital Photography has opened up wonderful opportunities for photo enthusiasts to connect with the history of photography itself. The modern photographic digital process and RAW workflow has more in common with Masters like Ansel Adams than one might imagine...
Shooting digital images leads to treating and developing each exposure seperately, something that was not feasible with roll film. And digitally "developing" each image separately promotes the visualization and realization of what was originally intended or imagined for each shot, instead of getting a stack of "standardized" and "normalized" prints back from a lab.
